Text messaging terms
Effective October 8, 2026.
- Program: friends.help sends conversational text messages (SMS and iMessage): questions about what you like to do, invitations to small group plans you can accept or skip, plan details, reminders and check-ins.
- How you opt in: on the join page, you enter your number, confirm it with a code, and tick a box that says: "I agree to receive recurring text messages from friends.help at this number: questions about what I like to do, invitations to plans, plan details and reminders. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop and HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of any purchase." We record that wording with the date and time. You can also opt in by text: send friends or friends.help as your first message to our number. We record that message as your opt-in.
- Consent is not a condition of any purchase.
- Frequency: message frequency varies with how you use friends.help. Unprompted messages are limited (two a week by default), and we do not text during quiet hours in your time zone.
- Stop: reply STOP to stop every text from our number, for friends.help and every other app powered by The Network. You get one confirmation and nothing else. To stop friends.help only, text leave friends.help or use the leave button on the settings page. You can also stop messages on the settings page.
- Start again: reply START.
- Help: reply HELP, or email help@ntwrk.love.
- Costs: message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Privacy: Mobile numbers and opt-in data are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing. See the privacy policy.
